Creativity

Perhaps in these times with so much change and challenges we need high levels of creativity.

Happy New Year!

These short days and long nights around winter solstice, Christmas and the new year take me inwards to reflect on my last year and set some concrete goals for the next one.

I find it important to look at my life holistically, with goals for my work, for social projects, for how I can create more joy, aliveness and harmony in my family, with my friends and other relationships, and also for myself: my health and how to become more skilled at this game we call life, so that I can grow as an individual, developing my strengths and letting go of what doesn´t serve me.

This year I have chosen just a few very specific goals, which of course include my Kundalini Yoga practice as a key tool for reaching them. I have found over the nearly 20 years that I have been working in personal development, that there are some parts of my mind and behaviour that would not change no matter how hard I tried or what I tried, except Kundalini Yoga. By having the patience and discipline to do even a few minutes of a K Yoga meditation each day, over time, I have seen those parts of me evolve quite effortlessly. I hope you are inspired to do the same.

I am particularly looking forward to 2010, which gives us numerologically the Divine Gift of the number 10 - the ability to "overcome", to fly, to conquer oneself and know that you are capable of realizing and materializing new and great things. This year is a year to let go of what no longer serves and begin anew, to leave behind lies, secrets and the false to build something new that is healthy, expansive and based in the reality of who you are.

The number "10" helps us to BE and go forward with practical actions, without fear, doubt, limitations, to really leave your grain of sand in the creation of a better world.

I wish you a radiant 2010.

With love

What do You Practice in Your Life

"What do you practice in your life? Whatever you practice you´re going to get good at. If you practice peace you´re going to get very good at it. If you practice knowing yourself you´re going to get very good at it. And you will know who you are." - Prem Rawat
